My favorite cookie--"Neiman's chocolate chip cookie"

You've all heard the urban legend of the Neiman Marcus cookie recipe. Well, it is just that "a legend," but it is still a delicious chocolate chip cookie.

1 c butter, softened
2 c flour
1 t baking soda
1 c sugar
2 1/2 c blended oatmeal (blended to a fine powder)
12 oz chocolate chips
1/4 c brown sugar
1 t salt
1 grated Hershey bar
2 eggs
3/4 c chopped nuts
1 t baking powder
2 t vanilla

Cream butter, sugars, eggs and vanilla. Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Add dry ingredients to the creamed mixture. Stir in chocolate and nuts. Bake at 375 for 10 minutes.

I don't blend the oatmeal. I used 4 oz of a grated Symphony bar, and I omitted the nuts.

The grated chocolate makes the cookie just melt in your mouth.
